Consultation has concluded

Welland is a dynamic and ever-evolving community. In order to provide efficient public transit, staff continually review the provision of service to ensure the routes and schedules are provided in the most convenient, economical, and safe manner for all stakeholders.

To achieve these objectives, staff have determined there are some service revisions which should take place immediately to enhance the overall productivity and integrity of the operation. At the Transit Advisory Committee meeting of May 16, 2018, Committee members were informed that service revisions were being brought to Council. Committee members were supportive of the initiative. At the present time, there are five revisions, which staff would like to implement on September 4, 2018. These adjustments involve routes 4, 5, 6, and 8.
