What kind of trails are you proposing here?
Most of the Trails being proposed will be 3m wide, crushed limestone surface trails. As new trails in the City's portfolio come online, the City will assume maintenance over these corridors.
Are these trails on private property?
No - all trails are being proposed on publicly-owned lands.
Will these trails require tree removal?
Some minor trees, invasive species and dead or dying trees will be removed, but all efforts are being taken to ensure that the Trail minimizes the negative impacts on the natural landscape of the area. Trail alignment is being developed to avoid removal of trees by creating a more meandering trail route.
